Calculators, receipts and guides that go with this estimate.
Kitchen remodels are the most complex estimates many contractors write, so structure is everything. Group the work by phase and trade: demolition, framing or layout changes, plumbing, electrical, drywall, cabinets, countertops, backsplash, flooring, painting and appliance hookup. Cabinets and countertops usually represent the biggest share, so be precise about linear feet, cabinet line and how countertops are handled: an allowance before templating, or a firm price once the material is chosen. Appliances are a common gap; say who buys them and who installs them. Lead times for cabinets and stone can stretch the schedule, and that belongs in the estimate too. Finally, describe how change orders work, because kitchen projects almost always evolve once demolition starts.
Why does the estimate include allowances instead of exact prices?
Customers often haven't chosen every finish when the estimate is written. Allowances give a working budget and are adjusted once selections are made.
How long does a kitchen remodel take?
It depends on scope and lead times for cabinets and countertops. The estimate should give an expected timeline and note what can delay it.
Can I keep my existing layout to save money?
Usually yes. Keeping sinks, ranges and walls in place avoids much of the plumbing, gas and structural cost. Show both options if the customer is undecided.
Yes. Make and download as many as you want, no signup. Free PDFs carry a small Presupuestado mark; Pro removes it and adds your logo.
