Design clients often ask 'how much for a logo?' as if it were a product on a shelf. A good quote turns that into a defined project: how many initial concepts, how many revision rounds, which files you'll deliver and what the client can do with them. Without those limits, a logo job can turn into twenty rounds of 'small tweaks'. Separate each deliverable, so a client who wants a logo, cards and social templates sees what each costs and can phase the work. Mention who supplies the copy and images, and how stock photos and fonts are licensed. Finally, explain when ownership or usage rights transfer, typically on final payment, and that unused concepts stay with you unless agreed otherwise.
How many revisions should a design quote include?
Two or three rounds is common. The key is stating the number and the price for extra rounds, so feedback is consolidated and the project keeps moving.
Who owns the design after the project?
Typically the client receives ownership or a broad license to the final approved design after full payment. Unused concepts and working files are often excluded unless agreed.
Should I charge hourly or per project?
Per-project pricing is easier for clients to approve. Base it on your estimated hours and rate, and use hourly billing for out-of-scope changes.
Yes. Make and download as many as you want, no signup. Free PDFs carry a small Presupuestado mark; Pro removes it and adds your logo.
