Estimates, receipts and guides that go with this invoice.
Lawn care is recurring work, so most businesses invoice once a month instead of after every mow. The invoice should make the month easy to check: how many visits happened, on which dates, and what was done on each. Mowing usually goes on one line with the number of visits as the quantity, while one-off work such as a leaf cleanup, aeration or a fertilizer round gets its own line. Rainouts are the usual source of questions, so say clearly whether skipped visits are dropped, made up later or included in a flat monthly rate. Small bills are easy to forget, so many lawn care companies keep a card on file or set a short due date and invoice on the same day every month.
Should I invoice lawn care per visit or once a month?
Monthly is more common for regular customers, since it means fewer invoices and fewer payments to chase. Per-visit invoices make sense for one-time or irregular jobs.
How do I handle rained-out visits on the invoice?
If you charge per visit, simply bill the visits that happened. If you charge a flat monthly rate, state in your terms that occasional weather skips are included so customers don't expect a credit.
Can I add a fuel surcharge to a lawn care invoice?
You can if it was part of your agreement with the customer. Put it on its own line and explain it, rather than raising the per-visit price without notice.
Yes. Make and download as many as you want, no signup. Free PDFs carry a small Presupuestado mark; Pro removes it and adds your logo.
