Estimates, receipts and guides that go with this invoice.
Tree work is priced job by job, so the invoice needs to describe each tree well enough that the customer recognizes it: species, approximate height and location, like the 45-foot oak next to the driveway. Removals, pruning and stump grinding are different services and should be separate lines. Equipment like a bucket truck or crane is often a big part of the cost on hard-to-reach trees, so give it its own line. Cleanup is the classic disagreement: say whether brush was chipped and hauled away, whether logs were cut into firewood or left in rounds, and whether stump grindings were removed or left in the hole. If you found extra hazards during the job, such as a rotten trunk or nearby power lines, note what changed.
Does stump grinding include removing the chips?
Not always. Many tree services leave the grindings in the hole unless haul-away is listed. Say which one applies on the invoice so the customer isn't surprised.
How do I bill a crane or bucket truck?
List it as its own line, by the hour or as a flat fee for the job. It shows the customer why a hard-to-reach tree costs more than a similar one in an open yard.
Can a tree service invoice be used for an insurance claim?
Yes, homeowners often submit it after storm damage. Describe the tree, where it fell and the work done; what the insurer covers depends on the homeowner's policy.
Yes. Make and download as many as you want, no signup. Free PDFs carry a small Presupuestado mark; Pro removes it and adds your logo.
